Thank god! When our heater kicked in for the first time since last spring it was making weird noises that I thought was a mouse at first. I hate rodents...
Actually I have funny story to share... one morning I got out of bed, blurry eyed from sleep. Went to the bathroom in a daze and went to do my business. While sitting I 'thought' I saw out of the corner of my eye something black enter the room. Thinking I just needed to wake up some more I starred at the spot that I thought I saw the black thing. Next thing I know 2 MICE enter from under the bathroom door and I let out a scream that could curdle blood! The mice practically did cartwheels on the tile! I didn't even have time to pull up my pants before I hopped into the bathtub and my brother came out to see what the fuss was about... I screamed mice and he said he was going to come in... and I just kept telling him 'not yet, not yet' because I had to pull up my drawers haha!!!! We had just put in the bath tub and the front wasn't on it just yet so the mice were using the hole to get into the floors. I just happened to be in their way - needless to say traps were set within hours for the little buggers!
I love that story!!! We found where he was storing the food...the drawer under the oven. It really is kind of funny. Hopefully, we won't have any more but, like my DH said we'll put out the trapline again. LOL!
